Las Golandrinas holiday villa

Las Golondrinas is a large, spacious Spanish villa with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 3 bathrooms and a large private pool. The villa has a huge, delightful garden perfect for relaxing or family games. You will struggle to find a more conveniently located villa, with the shops, restaurants and beaches of Calahonda within walking distance. The popular destinations of Marbella, La Cala village, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola are all within a short bus ride or drive. Malaga Airport is around 30 mins away. The property has three spacious bedrooms all with built in wardrobes and dual air conditioning/heating units. Bedroom 1 - Ground floor, double room with King sized bed, ensuite bathroom (bath and shower) and french doors to patio. Bedroom 2 - Large double room on first floor with king sized bed with doors opening onto balcony. Bedroom 3 - Two twin beds on first floor with doors opening onto balcony. Main Family Bathroom - Situated on first floor with large shower and separate full size bath. Large Family Lounge Diner with seating for 6 people, TV, DVD player and selection of films, board games, library and dual air conditioning/heating unit. Kitchen - The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven and gas hob. This leads to the utility room where you will find a large fridge/freezer and washing machine. Ground Floor Bathroom - ground floor toilet. Roof Terrace - a perfect relaxing area on the 2nd floor with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding area. On the roof terrace is a table and seating for 4 people. Outside the villa is a large private pool, huge garden with sun loungers, parasols and outdoor games, two outdoor dining terraces (one located outside in the shade by the kitchen and the other in the BBQ area) and a relaxing seating area. Guests will have access to the entire property. Calahonda is located in the province of Mijas Costa and can be reached within 30 minutes from Malaga Airport. Calahonda itself is a small, family friendly town with beautiful beaches, delightful restaurants, and a choice of shops and supermarkets. Within a 3 minute walk of Las Golondrinas, you will find a well stocked supermarket, restaurants and a tapas bar. Stroll a little further (10 minutes) and you will reach a lovely sandy beach, kids play area and beach bars along the board walk. For the more active, the local area boasts many coastal walks, mountain hikes, golf courses, a driving range and an excellent gym. Malaga airport is around 30 minutes east whilst Marbella and Puerto Banus are around 15 minutes west. Mijas Costa is popular with Europeans due to its year round climate, beautiful beaches, great golf courses and delicious seafood, and for that Calahonda will not disappoint. The villa has secure gates and parking available for 3 cars on the drive. It is extremely easy to make your way around the local area on foot, but we also have access to a bus stop 5 minutes walk away with a regular service running between Fuengirola and Marbella.
